How to create a subdomain in cPanel

This demo assumes you've already logged in to cPanel

Now let's learn how to create a new subdomain

1) Click SubDomains

2) Enter the prefix of your new subdomain here

3) Clicking here brings up the default directory for the subdomain

4) Click Create

5) Click Go Back

That's it!  You've just created a new subdomain demo.demo1234.com

In doing so, a folder called demo has also been created, which is where you upload your files for this subdomain

It's located in the public_html directory, and can also be accessed like this: www.demo1234.com/demo

Although not necessary for the subdomain to work (it's already working), you can also grant virtual FTP access to the new subdomain...you would do so from FTP Manager in cPanel

The new subdomain we just created is now listed here

This is the end of the tutorial.  You can return to this section at any time to create additional subdomains or delete existing ones
